Prof. dr. van der Vorst is Head of Innovation Rabobank (Wholesale Rural), appointed Professor of Strategic Design for Brand Development at TU Delft, writer and weekly columnist for Het Financieele Dagblad on innovation. From 2015 onwards he is mentioned as one of the 200 most influential people in the Netherlands.
Roland is a seasoned innovation and branding strategist, working at the crossroads of strategic thinking and creative thinking. Before joining Rabobank he has advised clients in various industries on disruptive business strategies, positioning and innovation. He has managed professional organizations and put his strategies into practice by being an entrepreneur in both Europe and Singapore.
Van der Vorst wrote 3 books. His first book, called “Nieuwsgierigheid (Curiosity), became an instant success. His book second book is called ‘HOOP (Hope). His latest book is called 'Contrarian Branding' and deals with innovative positioning strategies.
