Mo Gawdat

Former engineer, author, and creator of a happiness formula, Mo Gawdat has dedicated his life and resources to a mission: to make one billion people on this planet become happier humans.

After working for IBM and Microsoft, Mo landed a job at Google and helped start the platform in more than 50 emerging markets across the Middle East, Africa and Eastern Europe. He then joined Google [x] as a chief business officer and lived at the cutting edge of technology.
In the aftermath of his son's tragic premature death, he used his engineer-wired brain to come up with an equation for happiness.

The process resulted in the book ‘Solve for Happy: Engineer Your Path to Joy´, which became an international bestseller translated into 28 languages.

Mo left Google [x] in February 2018 to dedicate the rest of his life and resources to his personal #onebillionhappy moonshot with a mission to help one billion people become happier.
